A six-day, five night land tour featuring Fairbanks, Denali National Park, Talkeetna and Seward. The Alaska Discovery Land Tour was designed to align with your favorite cruise to offer a unique land option. TOUR DESCRIPTION

Day 1
Arrive at the Fairbanks airport from your home city where you will be met by the Premier Alaska Tours escort. Overnight Fairbanks.

Day 2
This morning, enjoy a city tour of Fairbanks, Alaska's Golden Heart city. Learn about the gold rush heritage and the oil pipeline. Afternoon cruise down the Chena and Tanana Rivers aboard the Riverboat Discovery. Visit a recreated Athabaskan Indian village where natives will teach you about their way of life. Your evening is open for optional activities such as AlaskaLand with its museums and Salmon Bake dinner. Overnight a second night in Fairbanks.

Day 3
Board the world famous Alaska Railroad for the journey from Fairbanks to Denali. This afternoon, travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wildlife Bus Tour looking for grizzly bear, moose, caribou, and sheep. Overnight Denali.

Day 4
This morning is open for optional activities such as white water rafting down the Nenana River, helicopter flightseeing over the Park, land on a glacier, or hiking. In the afternoon ride on the Alaska Railroad from Denali to Talkeetna. The train rides through the mountains and along the Susitna River. Keep your eyes open for animals or a view of Mt. McKinley if the weather cooperates. Transfer to your luxury Talkeetna hotel and overnight. Talkeetna is the town where all the mountain climbers start their ascent of Mt. McKinley. Great optional boat rides are available from this quaint town that reminds you of the TV show Northern Exposure.

Day 5
This morning enjoy the motorcoach tour from Talkeetna to Seward. Stop enroute for some free time in downtown Anchorage. The drive along Turnagain Arm is among the most beautiful drives in Alaska. Your evening is open in Seward for optional activities such as a Resurrection Bay Dinner Cruise. Overnight Seward.

Day 6
Your morning is open for optional activities such as a visit to a Dog Mushers home, a Native Dance Show or an Exit Glacier Tour. In the afternoon enjoy the included tour of the new Alaska SeaLife Center. After the visit, transfer to the cruise ship in Seward.
