The Premier Alaska Tours team is delighted to move into the Fairbanks transportation market with our recent purchase of Alaska Goldline Express. The purchase brings our transportation inventory to over 40 full size motorcoaches, 3 Sprinters, 1 van and four luggage trucks. In addition, we have a full MCI service center in Anchorage to continue with our commitment of offering the finest transportation services in the north. With the Fairbanks expansion, we will soon be announcing our new Fairbanks based management team and plans to build a maintenance & staff housing facility.

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) has selected Premier Highway Services (our motorcoach division) as their preferred Emergency Roadside Service Assistance (ERSA) provider in Alaska. MCI's ERSA program provides trained MCI Technical Support representatives 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. The service connects drivers to the repairs at nearby service providers like Premier Alaska and also helps with diagnostic assistance, passenger care and expediting on-site emergency delivery of parts. 2009 Guaranteed Departures! We are in the midst of planning meetings for our 2009 GUARANTEED DEPARTURE PROGRAMS. These programs include our highly successful escorted land tours as well as shorter tours designed to align with cruise sailings. Programs should be finalized by May 1, 2008 and if you would like to receive all of the programs, please send a note to: Karlyn@tourAlaska.net.

We are still actively selling tours for this summer and continue to offer weekly departures of land programs designed to align with cruise sailings. The Alaska Explorer Escorted Land Tour features Fairbanks, Denali National Park and Anchorage. The Discover Denali Hosted Land Tour features Anchorage and Denali National Park. We are moving into 2009 with the unveiling of the Winter Extravaganza Escorted Land Tour which features the world famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race. Unique features include a visit to four time Iditarod champion Martin Buser's Happy Trails Kennels the day before the big race. We will be taking photos of the 2008 tour and posting these at the "Reality Alaska" link. Watch this link as several of our staff members compete in the first annual "Running of the Reindeer" to be held during our Fur Rendezvous Winter Carnival in Anchorage.
